LACROSSE PROGRAMS

Join the Dog’s Family in our Lacrosse Programs

We have lacrosse programs year-round for your player.  Some of the offerings are designed to improve the player’s skills and tactical knowledge while others are designed for players who want to get on the field, pad up, and play.

Below is a timeline of our events.  The best way to get all the information is to chat with our friendly staff.  Send us a note at the Contact Us page.

Fall Lacrosse Programs (October – December):

We host 1-2 hour training sessions with our coaches twice a week so our players can improve on their playing abilities.  These sessions are located in Chandler for PreK – 8th grade and in Tempe for high school players.

Winter/Spring Larosse Programs (January – April/May):

The Chandler Dogs participate in the Youth Lacrosse of Arizona league for grades 8th and under and Arizona Lacrosse League for high school players.   These leagues bring lacrosse teams around the state together to compete.  The season runs from January to April for 8th grade and under players and until May for high school players.

Ten years old and under practices 2 days a week in Chandler.  Eleven to fourteen years old practice 3 days a week in Chandler.  High school players practices 5 days a week in Tempe.

Early Summer Lacrosse Programs (June/July):

For these months we encourage our players to participate in box lacrosse (indoors) or try out for a travel lacrosse club.  There are a few options for both here in the valley.  Reach out for more information.

Late Summer Lacrosse Programs (August/September):

During the summer we hold our “Stick Skills” sessions for players in grades 8th and under.  This is a great way for existing and new players to fine tune their lacrosse skills.  If you want an introduction to the sport, this is a great way to start because there’s no equipment necessary.
